Casinacho Games

★★★★☆ 4.3 Editor rating

Casinacho Games is one of those apps you open expecting five minutes and close forty minutes later. It bundles a handful of short, snappy mini-games under a bright, friendly layout. Each one teaches you its rules in a screen or two, then gets out of the way. The theming leans on playful card and tile visuals, but the heart of it is simple reaction and matching challenges.

Controls are tap and swipe, nothing fancy, and that works in its favour. On the train it never once asked me to do something delicate with two fingers while bouncing over a bridge. The pacing is generous too — rounds are short, so you can quit mid-session without feeling like you abandoned something. Loading between mini-games is quick, and the menus don't bury you in pop-ups.

What surprised me was how light it is on the battery. Thirty minutes barely moved the meter and the phone stayed cool. It's not a deep game and it won't change your week, but as a palate cleanser between heavier titles it earns its spot on the home screen.
