Skybound Workshop
★★★★☆ 4.2
Skybound Workshop scratches the builder itch. You bolt together parts, run a test flight, watch it fall apart, and tweak. The physics are playful rather than realistic, which keeps the failures funny instead of frustrating.
The drag-and-snap building interface is the heart of it, and it works well on a phone once you learn to zoom in for fiddly parts. Test flights use simple tilt or tap controls depending on your settings.
It can run warm during long building sessions but the test flights are short, so it balances out. A cosy sandbox that keeps handing you new parts to play with.
What we liked
- Satisfying drag-and-snap building
- Forgiving physics that make failure fun
- Tweakable flight controls for every preference
